Olu has worked in a number of public sector roles for over a decade. He is a practising social worker. Olu works collaboratively with families and as a member of interprofessional teams.

Olu applies best practice models in providing comprehensive assessments during interventions with children, young people and their families. Olu is also a practice educator, he is passionate about continued professional development and has facilitated learning opportunities for a number of colleagues and new
entrants to the sector.  

 

Olu has worked in a high paced environment and has provided crisis consultation to parents and adolescents during social care interventions. Olu works with children and their parents and adopts bespoke interventions in responding to the unique and complex needs of each child and their families.

Ms Sheikh is an experienced frontline  social worker and has worked within children and families services teams in a number  of local authorities.

She has a high level of supervisory skills and has facilitated learning  opportunities  for a high number of workers in social care.

 

Ms Sheikh has a particular focus on reflective practice which she adopts during her work with children and families.  She is a skilled practice educator and works effectively with a track record of developing the skill-set and career progression of social workers.

 

Ms Sheikh is very passionate about effective social work interventions making a positive impact on the lives of children. Her hobbies include photography, gardening,  watching home improvement and wildlife television programmes.

MARYAN HUSSEIN

PARTNER


Maryan Hussein is a registered social worker with years of experience of practice ranging from child protection, working in fostering services, looked after children, contextual safeguarding, therapeutic communities and organisational development.

 

Maryan Hussein is an accredited Practice Educator and also specialises in Systemic practice. She is interested in exploring themes of belonging, inclusivity and community based well-being.

Maryan is an established practice educator and is passionate about supporting practitioners to develop their skills and knowledge to work in a person-centred way in exploring complexities that faces families today.
